Mohamed Salah broke Liverpool record with 50 goals
Mohamed Salah broke Liverpool's record as the fastest player in the club's history by scoring 50 goals.
The record was incorrect when the Reds won a 4-0 win over Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League Group C round on Thursday (25/10) early morning, and the Egyptian star contributed two goals.
After Roberto Firmino opened the scoring for Liverpool in the 20th minute, Salah doubled the lead just before halftime to successfully finish the ball by Xherdan Shaqiri.
Salah finally scored his second goal in the match in the 51st minute, with a penalty, as well as his 50th goal for Liverpool from 65 appearances in various competitions.
Ten minutes ahead of the end of the match, Sadio Mane took his name on the scoreboard.
With 50 goals scored, Salah became the club's fastest player who could reach the number of goals.
Salah managed to break the fastest record of Albert Stubbins, who became a Liverpool star and led the club to win the First Division title of the 1946/47 season, which scored 50 goals in 77 matches in the late 1940s.
False has a direct impact on English football after Liverpool recruited from AS Roma in the summer of 2017. In his first season under Jurgen Klopp, the striker scored 44 goals in 56 matches, including 32 goals in the English Premier League so he won the Golden Shoe.
As far as this 2018/19 season, Salah has scored six goals in 13 matches.
