Megadeth Announces Special Invitation for Jokowi and Ganjar Pranowo

The trash metal band from Los Angeles, California, Megadeth is certain to perform at the JogjaROCKarta show: International Rock Music Festival. The rock music festival will be held on October 27, 2018 at the Kridosono Stadium in Yogyakarta.

The music group that is now fronted by Dave Mustaine (vocals / guitar), David Ellefson (bass), Kiko Loureiro (guitar) and Dirk Verbeuren (drums) seems to be impatient to re-appear in Indonesia.

Amid the heat of the political temperature ahead of the 2019 Presidential Election, Megadeth specifically invited the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo or Jokowi and the Governor of Central Java Province, Ganjar Pranowo to attend the Jogja Rocket concert.

"We are hoping that the Indonesian President, Joko Widodo and Governor Ganjar Pranowo will accept our invitation to see us in Jogjakarta on Oct. 27. We can't wait to play JogjaROCKarta and meet you both there," wrote the official Megadeth account on Twitter on Wednesday (19/9)

Meanwhile, Anas Syahrul Alimi as the promoter of CEO Rajawali Indonesia Communication said it had sent an official invitation to the Jpkowi to attend the JogjaROCKarta 2018 helatan.

"We as promoters invite President Joko Widodo to be able to attend JogjaROCKarta 2018 later. We have sent an official invitation to Mr. President, and it is an honor, of course, if he is willing to attend," Anas Syahrul Alimi told reporters.
