About 64 people were declared dead due to the Mangkhut storm that hit the Philippines. Reporting from Chanel4, Monday (17/9), there were 40 people, mostly miners who were trapped in landslides in the north of the Philippines.
Previously reported that there were 25 people killed due to the Mangkhut storm. Victim data has continued to increase since this morning. Because initially it was reported that only 12 people died from this natural disaster.

Philippine President Adviser Francis Tolentino said the deaths were mostly from Nueva Vizcaya Province which had a lot of irrigation and a long history of landslides. Twenty people died in the Cordillera area, the main island of the Luzon Islands. The other four victims were in Nueva Vizcaya Province.
Tolentino continued, another victim was hit by a fallen tree in Ilocos Sur Province. "Reports from other areas north of Luzon that were hit by this storm are still being followed," he said on Sunday (9/16).
The deaths of 20 people in the Cordillera were also confirmed by local civil security officer Emmanuel Salamat. Salamat said the police had reported there were 20 dead there.
Mangkhut storm reportedly also hit southern China with heavy rain and winds speeding hundreds of kilometers per hour. Over two and a half million people have been evacuated from their homes. The Chinese government has also declared an emergency disaster.
